Kate Bristol grew up in the DFW area of Texas, where she began working from an early age in regional theaters such as Casa Manana, Lyrics Stage, and Dallas Independent Playwright workshops. She made her voice over debut in the 2001 anime Fruits Basket at the age of 11 with FUNimation Entertainment. Since then, she has appeared in numerous FUNimation productions including Strike Witches, Dragonball Z and GT, One Piece, and Negima!.


After moving to New York in 2008 to pursue a degree from Pace University's BFA Musical Theater program, Kate was cast as Dorothy in the national tour of The Wizard of Oz and spent her junior year on the road.


With tour complete and degree in hand, Kate began to work in the city, lending her voice to animated TV shows such as Pokémon, Yu Gi Oh, Robocar Poli, Alisa, and feature films such as The Dragon Spell and Pixi Post and the Gift Bringers. Currently she can be heard Saturday mornings on Nickelodeon as Ling Ling Ironfan on Regal Academy, and Musa in the Netflix Original series World of Winx. She also appeared in an Off-Broadway production and several video games.

Recently, she taught a master class series at A.W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts in Palm Beach, Florida.

Aside from acting, she is also an assiduous writer and has contributed to the creative writing team for several animated productions, including Cosmi Academy, Robocar Poli, and Pincode. She freelances as a script adapter, converting scripts in other languages for English-speaking audiences.
